Description

The complete system for armoring surfaces in multiple applications including:

• Access driveways
• Construction site entrance shaker pads
• Water channels and dam spillways
• Dissipator aprons to pipe outlets
• Creek crossings

TerraGrid® Concrete Mattress system consists of:

• High strength concrete pyramids moulded onto a geocomposite geogrid and geotextile
• 450mm heavy duty galvanises U-anchors
• TerraTex® non-woven underlay geotextile
• Installation lifting slings

Supplied as a complete package including:

• Pallet of 14 mattresses (each mattress measures 1.2m x 2.4m)
• Standard accessories per pallet:
  • 55 x 450mm galvanised U-anchors
  • Pair of disposable lifting slings

Handling Instructions

1. Move palletised mattress to installation location.
2. Use lifting slings to lift individual mattress off pallet and position in final locations.

* Slings not to be used to distance travel mattresses. Slings to be used once and disposed.

Installation to Subgrade

1. Fix each mattress with minimum 6 off 450mm galvanised U-anchors

Soft Subgrade Installation

• Install mastaGRID® GT Geogrid over prepared subgrade.
• Lau and compact suitable layer of well-graded granular base course.
• Refer to site specific design by Project Consulting Engineer.
