The project manager called Polyfabrics to discuss the best available geosynthetic solution, and to find out how fast we could deliver when compared to undertaking more earthworks and bringing in more subbase.
The Polyfabrics engineering team suggested a combination of E’GRID biaxial geogrid and mastaTEX separation geotextile to rectify the soft soil on site.
Plus, we advised the contractor that we could have the E’GRID and mastaTEX geotextile on a truck to site within 4 hours!
The contractor, having previously used E’GRID specified by local geotechnical engineers on past projects, placed an immediate order. E’GRIDand mastaTEX was put on our VIP Express delivery service and shipped to site immediately.
The contractor was able to install mastaTEX and E’GRID on the same day, ensuring the project stayed on track with no extra noise or time delays.
