Dewatering Bag – 2.5m x 1.5m with 50mm neck – designed to filter out fine particles and contaminated fills, they work from pumping the sediment or fill inside the bag along with the liquid. This liquid will then filter out of the bag, leaving all the sediment behind.

Dewatering Bags are perfect for pumping and filtering sediment laden water. A very simple & effective dewatering bag for mining applications, dredging and other water pump activities.

DeWatering Bags provide a simple yet effective method of removing heavy particles (>90 microns) from excavation water allowing silt free water to be released from the bag.

  • 270gsm geotextile fabric
  • Double thickness neck for strength
  • 90 micron pore size
  • Double stitching
  • Male camlock connector
  • Flowrate: 100L per second per metre
  • Sizes: 1.5m x 0.5m with 50mm neck, 2.5m x 1.5m with 50mm neck, 6m x 4m with 100mm neck

Meet the Team

Raymond Chow has been involved with the geosynthetics industry for over 15 years. Graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Sydney, Raymond specializes in retaining wall designs, soft ground improvement, channel and slope protection, and on-site storm water management.

Raymond has been on various technical committees addressing geosynthetics, including testing, specification and durability issues.
